Blend together:

3-4 cups of raw spinach

1/2 banana

1/2 habanero (with seeds if you want to really make an impact)

1 cup water or 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup ice cubes (add more or less water if you like your shake thin/thick. I like mine watery, so I add water and ice.)

Pro tip: Pint jars are very inexpensive. I like to make 5 or 6 shakes to have all week at work.

This is the most beautiful sister island of Antigua, Barbuda. It was a quiet paradise of the most pristine powder soft pink sand you’ll ever feel beneath your feet.

In September 2017, Hurricane Irma shredded this tiny 1,800-resident island. I hope to go back one day soon as this was one of the most peaceful and beautiful islands I’ve visited.

In Indonesia, I saw this woman every day. She carried heavy loads of lumber, concrete and materials. She did the heavy lifting while her husband spread the concrete. She had the use of one eye and the most genuine smile and empathetic smile. I never heard her say a word. She never slowed down. And she never looked defeated.
